Paul Beecroft: New Zealand’s Animal Friends
A trek off the New Zealand’s tourist path reveals some truly interesting sights.
Wild chickens living at a picnic area.
Beside the campground.
Pukeko (water bird)
Found these little guys during a stop in Hawaii.
Another Hawaiian friend.

Hi SZ,
Yes the photos of the Falcon and the Owl were taken at a Falconry & Rescue Centre. The Falcon has leather anklets on with a metal eyelet for putting leather straps (Jesses) through.
Raven…..we rarely see one of those where I live.
Best wishes
Paul
What great shots ! I have a raven coming round now as I have been leaving him meat bits. What is on his ankles on the top two pictures ? Is it for training ?
