Thank you so much Lee for concepting and putting together this one-of-a-kind experience. This was my first time at WPA but I can tell you, it won’t be my last. I’ve already told my husband I’m coming back next year! The knowledge and expertise that writers have exposure to is incredible. I’ve walked away with some awesome contacts who understand that a writer’s mind will come up with the most twisted questions–and we shouldn’t be put on the local “drive by” list because of those questions. 🙂
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I’ve blasted this on my website and Facebook pages so hopefully this will get some exposure.
This was my first WPA. What an extraordinary conference. So amazing and wonderful that the law enforcement individuals that taught and provided demonstrations were so intent on seeing that we crime writers “get it right.” To donate their time like they did is awesome, absolutely awesome. I got some great material for my new series were my agent who works for the TRPB will do undercover work at racetracks. I want to get her right, and I want to go to WPA again next year!
I always wanted to play a victim or a body in a mock disaster. That seems like so much fun.
